How Tattoo Removal Works

Colorado Laser Treatments Uses The Safest, Most Effective Equipment

Tattoo removal results Longmont ColoradoTattoo inks are held in the in the sub-epidermis level called the dermis.

The inks are suspended in the dermis at a level shallow enough (usually about 3mm) to be visible through your epidermis so your tattoo can be seen. When laser light of the appropriate wavelength penetrates the dermis and strikes the ink, the ink is broken into very small particles. These ink particles are small enough to be absorbed by your immune system and the tattoo disappears over time and more treatments.

Laser tattoo removal is the only tattoo removal method that can produce this result. All other methods involve dermabrasion (sandpaper), excision- literally cutting the tattoo off, ineffective creams or drilling holes into your skin!

Laser tattoo removal is the most effective and comfortable method of removing the ink you want gone!

  • We will inform you about the risks and advantages of laser tattoo removal treatments.
  • We’ll also determine a price per laster tattoo session in order for you to know how much each treatment will cost and schedule a time for follow up assessment of your progress.
